Biography
Michael Daddona is a practicing artist living and working in San Francisco, CA working in the mediums of performance, sound, film, photography, installation, and social sculpture currently enrolled in the new genres department. daddona's work geberally deals with themes such as construction / destruction,decay, and puplic/private space, the facelessness of the big city, comedy, and distortion. Daddona has participated in numerous exhibitions on the west and east coast respectivley including, Sweeties Art Bar & Lounge (2006), RX Gallery - San Francisco (2005), San Francisco Art Institute (2004,2005), New Haven City Wide Open Studies (2003, 2004), and "Australia Abroad" (2003). Daddona co- curated "Roc Art", an art, film, and music festival in New Haven, in June of 2003 and October 2004. Daddona studied abroad in Australia in the summer of 2003, in a nomadic 400 level art history course, and had work chosen out of the group to be exhibited. Daddona's newest projects involve contibuting to a remix project of the classic film, Night Of The Living Dead, spearheaded by mediaexperiment.org., Project Full circle; a collaborative activist project dedicated to raising awareness about the dirty needle pollution problem taking over the streets due to the HPP needle exchange program, around certain parts of San Francisco. daddona is also involved with DiamondScratch, which is a small collective of sound artists who are continually conducting experiments that turn mundane objects into musical instruments through various types of amplification. Daddona is also interested in creating social sculptures via the medium of homemade beer. The first manifestation of this project was titled. "More Than One Beer" which brought the homemade beers, into a very alternative context for consumption to create a new social space. Daddona also works as a freelance graphic design artist, and has worked for several bands (Wrench In The Works, The Jeff Brown Duplex, Adam Currie Band, My First Step Toward Failure, Red Scroll Records) as well as some independent buisnesses (Automated Services, The Pinball Store, Pinballs.com) .

Michael Daddona is a artist practicing in San Francisco at the San Francisco Art Institute. Daddona's work deals with a numbr of themes including but not limited to destruction/construction, chaos, urban enviorments and our relation to them, comedy, and distortion (in the most ambogious forms). Daddona woeks in photography, sculpture, video, sound, installation, and performance. daddona has exhibited work on the east Coast and West coast respectivly at places like RX Gallery in San Francisco and Sweeties Art Bar 7 Lounge in San Francisco, as well as co produced/curated "Roc Art"- an art film and music festival two years ina row in New Haven, CT. Also plays in a avant garde rock band, Sabreteeth, and is interested in integration homemade beer into new social enviorments.

Much more interested then I was before The Intro To Sound Class. I want to learn more about basic programming...

Audio-Visual Installation/Performance, Many musical performances both planned and improvised, currently with my band, Sabreteeth.

Learn better how to promote my art, so it will REACH THE RIGHT PEOPLE, as well as meet some new artists and throw some events/ etc
