Barry and I were talking about this how one guy we both know calls like clockwork every 4-6 months on the same day. He must set people in the calendar. So, we both are taking the challenge to cold call or cold meet at least one person a day forever.
What is great is if you can have consistency.
One could scale this up to write program to insert contacts into calendar so that you get all your contacts in in a year, and get veto.
In this day and age of cold emails, there is nothing warm like talking to someone in person.
As Barry said: "The IDEA isn't cold at all." Its Hot!
