Long story. After great night hanging out with my new Japanese gang, went to Chinatown and found a hat with the Chinese folk symbol for good luck and immediately decided that its a better symbol simply by itself for the Laoban Soundsystem.

The hat is perfect in every way. I will simply buy more, and distribute them for Laoban Soundsytem crew. The symbol is more solid, requires little design. I simply drew it by hand all day, and created it in Inkscape.
