So much in China is focused on the nationalism of China. Even the art scene is quite inward looking, much more than other places around the world, and not very hospitable to International artists living in China. I propose to make an institution, inspired by Robin Peckham's new society, that advocates for International Artists living inside of China. It will hold monthly meetings, regular shows, and help accomodate artists living inside of China who are International.
This is not limited to only foreigners, but also Chinese people who are focused on becoming international artists, are also to be included.
Membership fees are a possible way to keep the project afloat, as well as other types of incentives for all those to belong.
