While there is already a visualization of edits to wikipedia in a delayed time over a google map, I'm interested in other visualizations or textualizations of this editing of Wikipedia.

Who is editing the site, what are the edits, and where do they come from? While not a deep exploration of the roots of edits, this project shows a slice of the volume of edits, and global interests in Wikipedia as the source of global knowledge, editable by anyone.

Another interesting piece to this would be to compare local news data to each edit to find some general rationale for a local influence on updating certain types of data.
