I use my head too often. I realized that in putting on the Cantocore Exhibition in San Francisco that it was all head, and the project I made for it, totally based in the head. Group Emotional Response focuses on performance and presentations to make, get or coerce people to cry. What is the most effective way to make every person in a room cry? Is there any medicines or chemicals that can be used to get people to cry? One idea is to make a mass way to cut onions and spray the effects on the crowd. It appears that when one cuts an onion the effects are created from sulphenic acid: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sulphenic_acid This reaction could be generated and sprayed into a space to intensify the effects.

However, even spraying sulphenic acid into the air would be superficial. I'm more interested in some type of response where people really deeply cry emotionally, as in the same effect of a primal scream or group therapy.
