Why are libraries quiet? Is data quiet? Libraries are out of touch. With many people treating commercial operations such as Barnes and Noble, or if you are in the midwest, "Barnes n Nobles," as a public library, there is a need for libraries which reflect society.

What will the library of the future look like? Will it be just a colo server facility, or could it be something different? It could be a place to expose media, connect up metadata, print out books on demand, and enocurage (re) use of media.
