    • Some type of social event for sharing and discussing similar to how CC developed on the web, but in a physical setting


History of Salons

  • 17th Century France is an apt model for this type of gathering which is half social and half intellectual.

Why in China?

  • China is in infrastructure-mode
  • Time to connect together the various communities, resources, and infrastructures to power the free culture movement in China
  • Great way to build connections between individuals and provide a relaxed atmosphere to discuss issues and show in-progress work and ideas.


Goal(s)
